about

A series of trance instrumental music using presets on Absynth 5--each tune is named by the preset used--with a view to finding presets that work as stand-alone instruments rather than special effects.

Created over 8 days at sea on MV Astor, hence the name and logo.

Played in on a 25-note (2 octave) keyboard, hence heavy reliance on drones and suspensions to allow more octaves to be switched in.

Some songs work wonderfully. Others, not so much.
