about

2012 Worktapes for Julian May's "Thte Many Colored Land" and "The Golden Torc", originally produced as part of February Album Writing Month fawm.org 2012.

Julian May's Saga of Pliocene Exile is a wonderful collection of novels, with the backdrop of the empty, Pliocene lands of western Europe. I still love wandering through the lost forests of the pre-sentient Eden.

These sketches were inspired by scenes and segments in the first two novels of that series.
